NetSetGo Programs 2025
What is NetSetGo?
NetSetGo is the first introduction to the game of Netball. It is broken down into 3 groups.
a) Net – This is a “Skills” based program for children turning 6 & 7 in 2025. This program is run on Sunday afternoons during the Term 2 school year (8 weeks) at the Margaret Cliff Netball Courts, Melwood Avenue, Forestville. No Club uniform needed.
Registration for this program opens on 1st March 2025.
b) Set – Introduction to the game. For children turning 7, 8 & 9 during 2025.
NB: Manly Warringah Netball Association (MWNA) will accept teams in these age categories in 2025.
Registration for this program is open now and will close on 3rd February 2025.
Forest Netball Club will form teams in these age groups, appoint a coach, organise training one afternoon per week at the Margaret Cliff Netball Courts, Melwood Avenue, Forestville and on Saturday mornings the team will play ‘modified non- competitive’ games against other clubs in MWNA at the John Fisher Park Netball Courts, Abbott Road, North Curl Curl.
Forest Netball Club uniform is needed for this group. The competition runs from early April until late August.
NB: Children turning 7 in 2025 may join in the Sunday ‘Net’ program as well as be in a 7yr ‘Set’ team but at no additional cost.
c) Go – For children turning 10 during 2025. Teams will play competitive netball against other clubs in MWNA at the John Fisher Park Netball Courts, Abbott Road, North Curl Curl on Saturday mornings. Forest Netball Club uniform is needed for this group.
Registration for this program is open now and will close on 3rd February, 2025.
